Just like the rice milk?
Absolutely not! It has a lot of sugar and carbohydrates and almost total protein ZERO. If you want to turn your blood sugar over the top, rice milk will get the job done, and can pack the fat as fast.
Here is one of the best options I found …
It’s actually a new “coconut milk Beverage” I’ve seen recently from food markets here in America. It seems different from the “coconut milk” for you to see just in cans is mostly diluted much more than canned coconut milk in a way that is not a thick coconut cream.
Now you may already know from reading other literature, coconut oil is among the healthiest fats you can consume … Yes, it is saturated fat, but researchers have shown that it is a very healthy type of saturated fat, which is mostly medium chain triglycerides (MCT), including lauric acid, which supports a powerful defense mechanism .
The taste of “coconut milk drinks” will have some added sugar, but they still just 9 grams of carbohydrate per 8 ounces, which can be a cup of cow’s milk.
But also provide a version without sugar, which has only 1 gram of carbohydrates.
The only problem is this “concoction of coconut” has just 1 gram of protein too.
So here’s my solution … go for a good quality of vanilla whey protein (sweetened with stevia in contrast to typical artificial sweeteners) and mix 3-4 scoops of whey protein pure canned whole half gallon of “drink of coconut milk “… preferably in a blender and then transfer to a new pitcher.
Now you have a milk alternative that is a good source of healthy fats (MCT in this case) and also high-quality protein, with only one gram of sugar per 8 oz serving!
I still do not give the whole raw cow’s milk with that … but this mixture of coconut milk would be the only option that I would drink if I could get my raw milk good.
