<p style="text-align: justify;">In  an era of abundance lotions, drugs readily available and easily  accessible knowledge on almost everything, many people suffer from a  sometimes embarrassing condition that is impossible to hide acne, a  condition that can affect self-worth, and how others treat them. In this article, I will share with you a not-so-popular treat acne, but very effective. Today  I&#8217;m going to share with you because it is better to treat acne with raw  foods, the vitamins and minerals may be missing if you have acne, and  some sources of food raw materials that have these nutrients.</p>

Your  skin is actually an organ of elimination, that is, your skin is a way  of releasing the body of toxins, such as when you sweat. Acne is simply the skin by removing toxins that your body is overloaded. So to prevent your body to get rid of these toxins, the best way is to not put toxins in your body, in the first place. Many  people have put so many toxins in their bodies that even the best  lotions and medicines out there to alleviate acne have limited success,  if necessary, since they are not addressing the real problem: too many  toxins in the body. raw  foods help to cleanse your body of these toxins with their high fiber  and water content, and at the same time, they have the nutrients  necessary to combat and prevent acne, as well as a number of other  health threats. A change of a diet rich in raw foods, or better yet, only raw and is the best treatment of acne. As Hippocrates said, &#8220;Let your food be your medicine and your medicine be thy food.&#8221;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Before  going into what those vitamins and minerals that have acne may be  deficient in, let me say here that drinking water is also essential for  healthy skin, which is simply an outward sign of a healthy body. The  water cleanses us from within, and is essential to our well-being, as  we are composed of about 67% water, and this has to supply every day to  achieve and maintain wellness. So be sure to receive plenty of water, as this goes a long way in overcoming acne.</p>

When  you look at the daily intake of these nutrients, and compare this with  what you are getting per day (many people are severely deficient in  potassium and vitamin A), it will become clearer what your acne  treatment should be, when you examine what have and have not been eating.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">You  can also see from these graphs that these vitamins and minerals are  depleted by diets rich in sugars, salt and saturated fats, alcohol,  coffee, and even stress, as well as other factors. A list of what you inhibits the absorption of each vitamin or mineral, called &#8220;anti-vitamins&#8221;, is located in the chart. Many people do not absorb vitamins, even though they get from raw food to their intake of these &#8220;anti-vitamin substances.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Mangoes are one of the best sources of betacarotene, quercetin and astragalin. These are powerful antioxidants that neutralise free radicals. Free radicals can damage cells and lead to heart disease, cancer, premature aging and degenerative diseases.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;"><span id="more-235"></span>Vitamin Powerhouse</h3>
<p style="text-align: justify;">One small mango provides a quarter of your recommended daily allowance for vitamin C, nearly two thirds of your daily quota for vitamin A, good amounts of vitamin E and fibre. They also contain vitamin K, phosphorus and magnesium. Mangoes are particularly rich in potassium which can help reduce the risk of high blood pressure.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">Pectin Lowers Cancer Risk</h3>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Mangoes also contain pectin, a soluble dietary fibre, which has been shown to lower blood cholesterol levels. Recently, scientists at The Institute for Food Research, discovered that a fragment released from pectin binds to, and inhibits galectin 3, a protein that plays a role in all stages of cancer progression. Other population studies, including the European Prospective Investigation of Cancer, have identified a strong link between eating lots of fibre and a lower risk of cancers of the gastrointestinal tract.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">Low Calorie</h3>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Mangoes are a considered a ‘high volume’ food which means you get a lot of food for a relatively small amount of calories – one mango contains around 135 calories. However, they are quite high in natural sugar with one mango containing around 30g.</p>

<h3>Traditional Uses</h3>
<p>In Chinese Medicine, mangoes are considered sweet and sour with a cooling energy and are known as a <em>yin</em> tonic. They are used to treat anaemia, bleeding gums, constipation, cough, fever, nausea, sea sickness and to help with weak digestion.</p>
<h3>Allergies</h3>
<p>Some people can be allergic to mangos as they are part of the Anacardiaceae family and are therefore a relative of poison ivy. They contain a substance called urushinol, a toxic resin, which can cause dermatitis. However, the peel and juice are more of a problem than the flesh.</p>
<h3>How to Pick a Ripe One</h3>
<p>Some varieties do not turn red, orange or yellow. If buying these green varieties, look for other signs they are ripe such as a nice sweet fragrance. They should yield nicely to a light press with the fingertip. If they are brought unripe, they can be put in a paper bag in a warm place and they will ripen in a day or two.</p>
