A  more recent study found that compared with lisinopril was less  effective than the drug, but has demonstrated the absence of intense  side effects.<br />
Lower fever &#8211; Hibiscus has been shown in laboratory animals for lowering fever (fever) properties. There is evidence to suggest that its mechanism of action is different from that of aspirin, which also lowers fever.<br />
The  protection of the liver &#8211; effects of various chemicals in the liver are  much more complex and poorly understood, but there is still some  evidence that hibiscus can protect against liver damage caused by a  number of different chemicals</p>
