To make the marinara sauce, you need to get the following ingredients:

O 1 / 4 cup olive oil

or 4 cloves of garlic, halved

A 35 oz or imported Italian tomatoes (fresh tomatoes may be substituted if preferred)

To prepare ziti in the oven, you will need the following ingredients:

A pound of pasta or ziti

or 4 cups of marinara sauce, or both shocked by the recipe above

8 ounces of fresh mozzarella or grated

Ø 1 / 2 cup freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese

O Optional: 1 pound ricotta cheese

Start by cooking the pasta. You will need to bring a large pot of water to a boil and then add the ziti. Cook until almost al dente, but still a little ‘crush – will continue to cook during baking. Drain the pasta.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Pour the mixture into a baking dish large brim. Add half the sauce, half the mozzarella cheese, and half the Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.
